We were delighted to welcome our students' grandparents to Scoil Naomh Pádraig for Grandparents' Day.
Each class prepared something special, from songs, and games, to conversations about days gone by. Afterwards, grandparents were invited to enjoy tea, cake, refreshments and conversation in the hall. Many shared stories of their own school days, sparking lovely intergenerational chats.
The visit was a beautiful reminder of the strong ties between home and school, and of the wisdom, love, and support that grandparents bring to a child’s life. It was a joyful, meaningful occasion that left smiles on every face and warmth in every heart.
